The Cameron Building is Open and Fully Occupied
Posted Under: Uncategorized
After several years of vacancy, the Cameron Building has been fully restored and brought to life. We received our certificate of occupancy from the City of Minneapolis on June 10. Grand opening festivities took place that week just before the first residential move-ins to celebrate this accomplishment and great addition to the North Loop neighborhood. The newly rehabilitated building features 44 units of workforce housing comprised of studios, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom units as well as a wifi lounge and workout facility.
Schafer Richardson is very happy to be providing high-quality affordable housing in a thriving and vibrant neighborhood. As of this month, the building is fully-occupied thanks to the hard work of Steven Scott Management’s leasing team. We would like to thank the project team, which includes Watson Forsberg, UrbanWorks Architecture, Mavo Systems, Braun Intertec, Hess, Roise and Company, and Steven Scott Management.
