Claire VanderEyk Hired as Development Manager

Schafer Richardson is pleased to announce that Claire VanderEyk has been hired as Development Manager. In her role, Ms. VanderEyk is tasked with analyzing new projects, working with lenders, investors and governmental partners while preparing and coordinating financing and equity packages for new development opportunities, and managing development projects from site identification through stabilization. Ms. VanderEyk brings particular expertise in affordable housing development and was, most recently, a Senior Development Associate at Newport Midwest and prior to that was a Development Associate with Dominium Development & Acquisitions. She has overseen the successful closing of over 600 affordable housing units throughout the country totaling over $97mm in development costs.

Ms. VanderEyk has a Master of Design Studies in Historic Preservation from Boston Architectural College, a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Real Estate from St. Cloud State University and an Associates of Applied Science in Architectural Construction Technology from St. Cloud Community & Technical College. Ms. VanderEyk is an appointed Commissioner of the Minneapolis Historic Preservation Commission as well as a member of the St. Anthony Falls Heritage Board.
