Lisa Sigman

Lisa joined Schafer Richardson in 2026 as a Senior Paralegal overseeing matters related to commercial real estate acquisitions, commercial leasing and title and survey review.  Before joining Schafer Richardson, she worked as a Senior Legal Manager, Commercial Real Estate Paralegal and Transaction Manager for several Fortune 500 companies and major law firms based in Minneapolis, with an emphasis on commercial real estate lending and finance.

Prior to joining Shafer Richardson, Lisa held positions with Thrivent Financial, Ameriprise Financial and worked as a paralegal with several top law firms in the twin city metro area.  In these roles she partnered with commercial mortgage bankers and title agents in addition to outside and inside counsel, among other professionals in the industry, to deliver tailored financing solutions for a variety of commercial properties, as well as managing the acquisition and disposition of various commercial properties, with an emphasis on client relationship building and management.

Along with earning her certificate in commercial real estate finance from the University of St. Thomas and a paralegal certificate from the Minnesota Paralegal Institute, Lisa attended the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.  Prior to relocating to Minnesota in 1991, Lisa served a six-year enlistment with the Ohio Army National Guard as part of the State Area Command Unit.
