Stacy Ekholm, CPM, CRM, COS, CMCA

As Vice President of Residential Property Management at Schafer Richardson, Stacy brings over 25 years of experience in real estate and property management, leading a team of dedicated professionals focused on achieving operational excellence and financial performance across a diverse residential portfolio including affordable and market-rate properties. With a passionate approach to relationship-building, Stacy collaborates closely with property owners and residents, developing and executing strategic plans to foster success and create vibrant communities.

Prior to joining Schafer Richardson, Stacy served as Chief Operating Officer at Norhart, where she led Property Management, IT, Marketing, and Facilities for a large portfolio. She employed innovative leasing and centralized management strategies that boosted occupancy and NOI, enhancing the overall resident experience. As a member of the executive leadership team, Stacy worked alongside construction and finance on site selection, building design, and shaping company strategy, ensuring alignment between operational goals and long-term growth initiatives.

An active member of MHA, Stacy is committed to advancing industry knowledge and standards. She created and instructed the CRM Budget Module course at MHA for over three years, equipping real estate professionals with essential budgeting skills. Stacy is a three-time MADACS (Multi Housing Achievement in Design, Advertising, and Community Support) award winner and is recognized for her exceptional contributions to property management excellence in Minnesota.

Stacy holds a CPM designation from IREM, CRM certification from the Minnesota Multi-Housing Association (MHA), COS accreditation from the National Center for Housing Management and a CMCA designation from Community Association Managers International (CAI).  She attended Hennepin Tech and studied Property Management and Drafting/Design.
