Bradley J. Schafer serves as Director and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Schafer is a Founding Principal of Schafer Richardson and has over 30 years of commercial real estate experience. Mr. Schafer focuses on debt/equity capital formation, syndication, investment selection, and management oversight. Prior to forming Schafer Richardson, Mr. Schafer was Vice President with Griffin Real Estate Company as a leasing and investment specialist for 10 years. Kit Richardson

N. Christopher (Kit) Richardson serves as Director and Secretary of the company. Mr. Richardson is a Founding Principal of Schafer Richardson and a licensed Architect with over 44 years of experience in commercial real estate, real estate development, and architecture. Prior to forming Schafer Richardson, he was Vice President with Griffin Real Estate Company as an investment and land sales specialist for eight years. Prior to that, Mr. Richardson co-founded Architectural Associates, Inc., a Minneapolis based design firm with a focus on commercial interiors, in-fill urban projects, and historic preservation. He began his architectural career in the office of Ralph Rapson & Associates, having been a graduate program teaching assistant under Mr. Rapson at the University of Minnesota. Steve Norcutt

Steven G. Norcutt serves as Director and Chief Operating Officer of the company. Mr. Norcutt joined Schafer Richardson in 2009 as Principal and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Norcutt has over 30 years of experience in financial management, portfolio management and mortgage origination. Prior to joining Schafer Richardson, Mr. Norcutt served as Senior Vice President/Portfolio Manager of Structured Finance with ReliaStar (ING) for over 13 years. Greg Springer

Gregory J. Springer serves as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Mr. Springer joined Schafer Richardson in 2014 and oversees the financial and administrative aspects of the business. His responsibilities at Schafer Richardson include accounting, planning, treasury, risk management, human resources, employee benefits, technology and transaction processing. Before joining Schafer Richardson, Mr. Springer served as the Chief Financial Officer of a privately-held distributor of mid-range computer solutions, and previously held senior financial positions at United Health Group and Arthur Andersen LLP. Mr. Springer has developed an expertise in a broad array of financial and operational activities with a strong orientation to effective business processes, policies and controls. Shanna L. Strowbridge

General Counsel, Schafer Richardson

Shanna Strowbridge serves as General Counsel for Schafer Richardson and SR Realty Trust.  Shanna has nearly twenty years of experience in commercial real estate transactions and leasing matters in both the private practice and in-house counsel settings. She represents our development and acquisition teams in the purchase, sale, development, financing and structuring of master-planned communities and projects. She enjoys working in-house where her business perspective and acumen can be used to identify, understand and assist in resolving the company’s legal and business concerns, as well as provide advisory services to the organizations’ Board of Directors. Her extensive experience within the Twin Cities real estate industry is a valued asset to Schafer Richardson as is her expertise in handling entitlement of projects, property management matters and drafting construction contracts. Evan Richardson

Evan C. Richardson currently serves as Senior Vice President - Investments. Mr. Richardson joined SR Realty Trust’s parent company, Schafer Richardson, in 2013. In that capacity he leads the company’s efforts to structure and capitalize new initiatives, investment funds, single-asset partnerships and joint venture activities. Today, Mr. Richardson is responsible for all capital markets activities within SR Realty Trust. Prior to joining Schafer Richardson, Evan was a member of the Capital Markets Group at Cushman & Wakefield (formerly NorthMarq). During his tenure, the Capital Markets Group listed, sold, or consulted on more than nine million square feet of commercial real estate representing approximately three quarters of a billion dollars of aggregate value. Denise Anderson

Denise joined Schafer Richardson in 2015, bringing a myriad of professional experience to her position as an Administrative Assistant to the company.  A graduate of Rasmussen College, she previously worked as an assistant to Sales Representatives at Reebok, as a buyer for a major sporting goods franchise, and more recently in office management and office support roles. At Schafer Richardson, she assists the property management and leasing team, assessing and managing insurance needs and certificates via Yardi, processing lease commissions and file management. Jennifer Anfinson

Jennifer joined Schafer Richardson in December 2021 and serves as Senior Paralegal-Risk Management Coordinator. She brings over 6 years of previous paralegal experience working for another large commercial REIT in Chicago, Illinois.  Her previous REIT legal experience includes Litigation and Claims, Bankruptcy, and Legal Real Estate and Finance matters.  Jennifer holds a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Loyola University Chicago. Katie Anthony

In her role as Vice President of Development, Katie is responsible for leading Schafer Richardson’s Development Team and integrating development services with the company’s other service offerings.  Katie joined Schafer Richardson in 2015 and has two decades of experience in the planning, real estate, construction, and sustainable design industries.  Ms. Anthony’s expertise includes new construction, adaptive reuse, historic preservation, neighborhood economic development, and master planning within the mixed use, market rate housing, affordable housing, homeownership, and creative office product types.  Katie is adept at leading teams through all aspects of the development process from feasibility analysis and financial modeling to construction management and marketing & lease-up. As a Senior Financial Analyst, Ben is responsible for creating and maintaining the company’s corporate financial models for the purpose of synthesizing data to establish a streamlined analytic foundation. Prior to joining Schafer Richardson, Ben worked as an Acquisitions Manager for TS REIS, a boutique real estate investment service company located in the Greater Omaha, NE area. While a part of TS REIS, he was the lead of all acquisition and disposition activity across IA, KS, NE, and SD, while overseeing asset on-boarding and management of properties acquired. Jeannie Collins

Jeannie began her Real Estate career in 2012 and joined the Schafer Richardson team in 2014. As a Senior Property Manager, she is responsible for managing a mixture of commercial real estate properties around the Twin Cities owned by Schafer Richardson and third party. Her emphasis is in building strong tenant relationships while administrating day-to-day building operations, financial reporting and  budgeting, vendor management and contracts. Kim Erickson

Kim joined the Schafer Richardson team in 2015. She comes to the team with over 30 years of administrative and office management experience. Her organizational skills, her ability to take the initiative, and her talent to catch on quickly have proven to be a great asset to the company. Josh Franke

Aaron Haho

Aaron joined Schafer Richardson in April 2018 as Property Administrator and was recently promoted to a Property Manager for Schafer Richardson. As a Property Manager, his responsibilities include managing retail, office and industrial properties on behalf of Schafer Richardson and third party ownership groups.  His emphasis is ensuring tenant satisfaction while administrating daily building operations, financial reporting, vendor management, as well as developing asset budgets and capital expenditure plans. Tami Haight

Tami joined the Company in 2014 and has over 20 years of Human Resources, Benefits, and Payroll experience.  At Schafer Richardson, she is the primary resource on Human Resource related issues and serves as the liaison between employees, management, and executives.  In addition, she is responsible for managing all Human Resources, Benefits, and Payroll activities. Before joining Schafer Richardson, Tami handled accounting activities for a variety of real estate and construction industries.  As a result, in addition to Human Resources, she is responsible for providing support in the financial and administrative aspects of the organization. Laura Hanneman

Laura J. Hanneman joined Schafer Richardson and SR Realty Trust in 2018 as a member of the Capital Markets team and is the Investor Services Manager. In this role, Laura works on all aspects of the Company’s investor relations, equity sales, and marketing efforts. Most recently, Laura was a part of the Minneapolis Multi-Family Investment Sales team at CBRE. Justin Harvey

Justin joined the Schafer Richardson team in 2017. His primary role includes assisting in the accounting of the company’s owned and managed properties throughout multiple states. Additional responsibilities include entering accounts receivable and payables into Yardi, compiling month-end financial reports and journal entries, completing CAM reconciliations, and scanning checks to the banks. Andrea Hilgren, RPA

Andrea joined the Schafer Richardson team in June of 2021 and brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial property management.  As a Senior Property Manager, Andrea is responsible for oversight of a diverse portfolio located throughout the Twin Cities, IA, and MO. Prior to joining Schafer Richardson, Andrea managed portfolios including industrial, retail and office property for CSM Corporation and Colliers International.  Andrea is known for her dedication to customer service, extensive building knowledge, acute attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills. Amanda Janzen

Amanda Janzen joined the Schafer Richardson development team in late 2013.  As a Senior Development Manager, she is responsible for guiding all phases of real estate development including predevelopment due diligence, securing public/private funding for project finance, guiding design, overseeing construction, coordinating staff and project consultants, and managing project lease-up. Amanda holds a Masters in Urban Planning from the Humphrey School at the University of Minnesota. Dominik Jenson

Erin Larson

Erin joined Schafer Richardson in February 2016 as Marketing and Leasing Manager for Schafer Richardson Management Services. She focuses on property and new development marketing initiatives and leasing Schafer Richardson's retail and office portfolio. Erin also works on behalf of third-party owners and tenants (landlord representation, tenant representation, sellers and buyers). Erin has 15 years of experience in commercial real estate, ranging from leasing (tenant and landlord representation) to investment sales, with an emphasis on nationwide Net-Lease sales. She also has a strong background in the sale of Tenant-In-Common (TIC) properties. Debbie MacKenzie

After working with Kit Richardson and Brad Schafer for many years at Griffin Real Estate Company Debbie joined them at Schafer Richardson in 1998 and now has over 35 years of experience in real estate accounting. Her responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of Schafer Richardson Construction's accounting, including A/R, A/P, Job Cost and G/L.  She works very closely with the Project Managers to set up budgets, produce pay applications and billings for all projects.  She also maintains and supports the construction software used by Schafer Richardson Construction. Denise brings 25+ years of experience in commercial real estate to the Schafer Richardson team. She holds several real estate designations including RPA, CPM and LEED AP and serves on St. Paul BOMA’s Education Committee. Denise McCormick joined Schafer Richardson in 2017 as a Senior Property Manager. Karley McQuillan

Senior Corporate Accountant, Schafer Richardson

Karley joined the Corporate Accounting team in August 2017.  As a Senior Accountant, Karley assists in day-to-day accounting functions such as managing all corporate payables and intercompany billings amongst Schafer Richardson’s large portfolio.  She is responsible for compiling timely and accurate monthly financial statements for both Schafer Richardson and SR Construction, LLC.  Karley also helps to oversee all new investment activity and quarterly distributions made by the REIT. 

She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).  Prior to joining Schafer Richardson, Karley worked in public accounting as an auditor of privately held companies.  She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2014, where she double majored in Accounting and Real Estate & Urban Land Economics.

Tom Mott

Thomas M. Mott joined Schafer Richardson as Vice President, Asset Management in 2020. He is responsible for the financial and strategic goals of SR Realty Trust and affiliated Schafer Richardson properties. Tom has over 25 years of experience in commercial property and asset management. Prior to joining Schafer Richardson, Tom served as Vice President, Asset Management for 9 years. He has been instrumental in the acquisition, repositioning and disposition of a variety of property types both locally and nationally. Jennifer Moya

Jennifer Moya joined Schafer Richardson in May 2019 and serves as Senior Paralegal.  In this role, Jennifer is responsible for the preparation and review of real estate and legal documents including leases, amendments, commercial and service contracts and purchase and sale agreements.  Jennifer drafts organizational documents, establishes corporate entities and files property tax appeals.  In addition, she supports the General Counsel with due diligence on acquisition and disposition transactions, closing documents and all other real estate matters. Jen Nergard, RPA

As Director of Property Management and Leasing, Jen is responsible for the oversight of a team of professionals whose day to day goal is operational excellence and financial performance over a multi-state, commercial and residential portfolio. Jen has a passionate approach to building relationships with owners and tenants by creating, identifying, and implementing strategic plans to achieve success.   

While focusing on the bigger picture, Jen brings managerial expertise, strategy, commitment and attention to detail into the establishment of standard operating procedures and process improvement while embracing the fast-paced real estate environment.

With over 17 years of experience, Jen is a natural leader whose experience in managing on behalf of an owner’s team, third party clientele and corporate clients enables her to approach each asset and relationship with a unique vision while enhancing value.

Jen received her Bachelor of Science degree from St. Cloud State University.  She is an active member of Building Owners Managers Association (BOMA) Greater Minneapolis chapter.  Jen has her MN real estate salesperson license and completed her RPA designation.  Additionally, Jen was named the Female Property Manager of the Year (2021) by the Minnesota Real Estate Journal.

Mike Olson

Lori Parks

Dan Ruehl

Dan K. Ruehl joined Schafer Richardson in 2018 and serves as the Acquisitions Manager for SR Realty Trust.  He is responsible for underwriting, due diligence and reporting functions for SR Realty Trust. Prior to joining Schafer Richardson, Dan was a Real Estate Manager with CBRE where he managed 2,000,000+ square feet of retail, office and industrial real estate and did site inspections on another 5,000,000+ square feet of big box retail spaces. Anna Scheetz joined the Schafer Richardson team in June 2020. As the Senior Asset Manager, Anna is responsible for executing the overall asset management strategy of SR Realty Trust and affiliated Schafer Richardson entities.  Anna has been working in commercial real estate since 2011 and brings experience managing all types of real estate including office, industrial, multifamily and senior housing. Claire VanderEyk is a Development Manager at Schafer Richardson.  In her role, Ms. VanderEyk is tasked with analyzing new projects, working with lenders, investors and governmental partners while preparing and coordinating financing and equity packages for new development opportunities. Prior to joining Schafer Richardson, Ms. VanderEyk's professional work has been focused on affordable housing development, as Development Associate with Dominium Development, and most recently, a Senior Development Associate for Newport Midwest.  Ms. VanderEyk has overseen the successful closing of over 600 affordable housing units throughout the country, totaling over $97 million in total development costs. Ms. VanderEyk has a Master of Design Studies in Historic Preservation from Boston Architectural College.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Real Estate from St. Cloud State University.  She also has an Associates of Applied Science in Architectural Construction Technology from St. Cloud Community & Technical College.  Ms. VanderEyk is an appointed Commissioner of the Minneapolis Historic Preservation Commission as well as a member of the St. Anthony Falls Heritage Board.  She co-chairs the Preserve Minneapolis Events Committee and serves on the Real Estate Committee of Urban Homeworks as well as the Housing.  Planning & Development Committee of the Lyndale Neighborhood Association. Melissa ‘Mel’ joined Schafer Richardson in April 2020 as Senior Project Coordinator. She comes to the team with 25+ years in the construction field, including construction (residential and commercial building), land development, site development, and real estate. Melissa primarily supports the SR Construction Services, LLC Team, by implementing and streamlining processes and procedures as well as providing ongoing support with miscellaneous projects. Her depth and knowledge of project coordination is a skill set that helps across all business lines of Schafer Richardson. Mel brings knowledge and expertise into the management field while building professional relationships with owners, tenants, and vendors.  Her experience in managing on behalf of an owner’s team, third-party clientele, and corporate clients enables her to approach each asset and relationship with a unique vision while adding value.
