Schafer Richardson, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of The Parkway off Central Apartments, a Class A multifamily apartment building at 9436 Ulysses St. NE in Blaine, Minnesota. The Project broke ground on a formerly vacant site in June 2016 and opened on September 1st, 2017. The Parkway is prominently located just off Blaine’s main thoroughfare, Central Avenue (Highway 65), and is directly north of Aquatore Park, Hwy 10 and Clover Leaf Parkway.

The development includes 191 residential units along with nearly 400 parking stalls. New residents can choose from studios, one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms, and three-bedrooms featuring granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, kitchen islands, designer cabinets, in-unit washers & dryers, walk-in closets, and patios/balconies in select units. Shared amenities include a 24/7 fitness center, yoga room, business conference room, club room with full kitchen, theater/media room, and a game room with foosball, darts and more. The building is also equipped with fiber optic high-speed internet, a Luxer One Package system, and an integrated audio-video system in common areas. Residents have ample opportunities to connect with their neighbors and the surrounding community with a bike share program, community garden, pond, woodland walking path, swimming pool, and sundeck with a fire pit and grilling stations all onsite. The building is pet friendly and smoke free. Learn more at http://www.theparkwayoffcentral.com/.

Parkway off Central has seen a favorable reception in its early days. According to Brenda Hvambsal with Steven Scott, the management company for the development, “feedback from prospects and new residents has been very positive. The building is 35% leased and traffic continues to be very strong.”

Brad Schafer, President of Schafer Richardson, stated “Schafer Richardson is excited to deliver a Class A housing option in the City of Blaine. Like many Twin Cities suburbs, Blaine is seeing stable growth, and the market is responding well to one of the city’s first new apartment complexes in 20 years. The Parkway is a nice complement to recent single family home development in the city, and residents can take advantage of high quality schools, parks, bike trails, and other recreational amenities.” Schafer also expressed gratitude to the project team for their diligent work to keep the project on schedule and within budget. Schafer Richardson’s Project Manager on the development was Katie Anthony, Amcon Construction was the architect and general contractor, and Steven Scott Management is the leasing agent and property manager for the building.
