Welcome to Our Two Newest Employees!

Posted Under: Uncategorized

Schafer Richardson is pleased to highlight two new employees who came on board with us this past fall. We welcome them to our team and look forward to the knowledge and expertise they will bring to our company.

Jeff Merriam
Nathan Monroe

Jeff Merriam joined Schafer Richardson in August of 2015 as an Analyst for our Capital Markets department. Jeff holds a degree in Economics and International Studies from the University of Richmond. Previously, Jeff worked for Guy Carpenter, a subsidiary of Marsh and McLennan, where he advised insurance companies on large risk transfers. In his position at Schafer Richardson, he is responsible for many aspects of the underwriting, due diligence and reporting functions related to the company’s investment and investor opportunities. Since starting at Schafer Richardson, he is already enjoying the people and the variety of hats he gets to wear, which means he is rarely doing the same thing every day. Originally from Minneapolis and Edina, Jeff embraces the winter through skiing.

Nathan Monroe came on staff in November of 2015. With a degree in Business and Accounting from Bethel University, Nathan has worked with Mortenson Construction and Engineering America as a project accountant. At Schafer Richardson he works as a construction accountant, supporting Synergy Builders, adding bandwidth to the existing team, and refining accounting policies and procedures. He is excited to be a part of our team and believes his values match well with the company. Originally from Michigan, Nathan spends his winters playing hockey and ice fishing. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and serving as the treasurer for his church.

A warm welcome to both Jeff and Nathan!
