Located in the vibrant Northeast Minneapolis community at 900 14^th Avenue NE, Timber & Tie is Schafer Richardson’s third affordable housing project. The development introduced 175-units to the market in the fall of 2021. Of the 175 units, 150 units are rent restricted for households earning at or below 60% of the Area Median Income. The remaining 25 units are reserved for project-based housing vouchers. The unit mix consists of studio, one, two, three, and four-bedroom units.

Included in the development is a public art gallery and an industrially oriented maker space. Residential amenities include a fitness center, outdoor playground, package notification and storage system, bike storage, community rooms, and on-site management.

Timber & Tie also features 5,000 SF of fully-leased commercial maker’s space.
