Amanda brings over 20 years of Multifamily experience with emphasis in the Affordable Housing sector. She comes to us most recently from Affordable Housing Connections (AHC), as a Strategic Initiatives and Education Manager, where she collaborated with governmental and regulatory agencies to promote compliance with fair housing and lending related matters to improve industry performance in meeting the needs of underserved persons and communities.
As Schafer Richardson’s Director of Compliance, Amanda is a key member of the management team and a contributor to the overall success and future growth of the company’s affordable housing operations. She facilitates education and training regarding compliance, and monitors and coordinates responses to audits and other investigations. Additionally, Amanda is responsible for providing overall guidance, and oversight for the development, implementation, and ongoing administration and monitoring of practices which promote an effective Compliance Program.
Amanda is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, River Falls, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Business and Criminal Justice. She holds numerous industry-related certifications, including Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Tax Credit Specialist, and Blended Occupancy Specialist.
