Schafer Richardson Plants Trees in North Minneapolis

Posted Under: Uncategorized

On October 6, 2017 a Schafer Richardson team planted trees in North Minneapolis for Tree Trust’s Trees for NoMi Program.  Schafer Richardson also donated $5,000 to support this effort.

The event provided free trees to North Minneapolis residents to help beautify the area and increase the tree canopy.  This is especially important as it is estimated that Minneapolis and St. Paul will lose over two million trees in the next five to ten years due to the emerald ash borer.

“Our real estate company, Schafer Richardson, LLC, was very happy to help the effort both by contributing money to help kick-start the effort, and by having our employees plant trees on private properties in North Minneapolis. We also appreciated all of the efforts and contributions from the other sponsors and participants,” quoted Schafer Richardson Principal, Kit Richardson.
