SR Realty Trust, Inc Hires Sawatske as VP of Acquisitions

SR Realty Trust Inc, a division of Schafer Richardson, is proud to announce that Tom Sawatske has joined the company as Vice President of Acquisitions. In this role, Sawatske will have primary responsibility for leading the Schafer Richardson acquisition efforts for SR Realty Trust, an affiliate of Schafer Richardson. His focus will be on sourcing, underwriting, and closing new investment opportunities across multiple asset classes, including industrial, and multifamily properties.

Sawatske brings over 10 years of experience in real estate financing and investment. Prior to joining Schafer Richardson, he worked at The Excelsior Group and its successor, Sotarra, with broad responsibility in acquisitions, development, and asset management. He also previously worked in the commercial real estate lending units of Wells Fargo and Bank of the Ozarks, originating real estate loans in excess of $1 billion.

Sawatske holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and is a CFA Charterholder.
